Sofosbuvir and Velpatasvir are antiviral medications that prevent the hepatitis C virus (HCV) from multiplying in your body. Sofosbuvir and Velpatasvir is a combination drug used to treat chronic hepatitis C in adults. MyHep All Tablet medicine is sometimes given in joining with another antiviral medication called ribavirin in people who also have advanced cirrhosis. Sofosbuvir and Velpatasvir treat specific genotypes of hepatitis C, and only in certain people. Use only the medications prescribed for you. Do not share your medicine with other people. Sofosbuvir Velpatasvir are sometimes used in people who also have HIV. This medicine is not a treatment for HIV or AIDS. The combination of Sofosbuvir and Velpatasvir is used alone or with ribavirin (Copegus, Rebetol, and Ribasphere) to treat chronic hepatitis C (an ongoing viral infection that damages the liver). Sofosbuvir is in a class of antiviral medications called nucleotide hepatitis C virus (HCV) NS5B polymerase inhibitors. Velpatasvir is in a class of antiviral medications called HCV NS5A replication complex inhibitors. The combination of sofosbuvir and velpatasvir works by stopping the virus that causes hepatitis C from spreading inside the body.
MyHep All Tablet contains two direct-acting antiviral drugs that target different steps of the hepatitis C virus (HCV) lifecycle. Sofosbuvir is a nucleotide analogue HCV polymerase inhibitor, meaning it blocks the polymerase enzyme which the virus must use to reproduce. Velpatasvir is an HCV NS5A replication complex inhibitor that interferes with another protein HCV uses to reproduce.
MyHep All Tablet (Velpatasvir Sofosbuvir) is a combination medication indicated for chronic hepatitis C genotype 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 infections in adults. Specifically, MyHep All Tablet is indicated for the treatment of these genotypes without cirrhosis or with compensated cirrhosis. Also, MyHep All Tablets can be used with ribavirin in individuals with decompensate cirrhosis. MyHep All Tablet is a combination of two direct-acting antiviral medications, one being a nucleotide analog NS5B (non-structural protein 5B) polymerase inhibitor (sofosbuvir) and the other being an HCV NS5A (non-structural protein 5A) inhibitor (Velpatasvir). There is a potential for hepatitis B reactivation in individuals taking MyHep All Tablet who have a history of HBV. Before taking MyHep All Tablet, your provider should test you for HBV and note any account you have with the condition. It is important to also consult the prescribing information for any medications you are also taking in combination with MyHep All Tablet, including ribavirin.
